4. 4 Aims 1.To help families make a positive contribution 2.To enable more vulnerable people to be successful by: –Improved outcomes for families/less demand for public services –Earlier intervention for those at risk 3.Helping people/families to be more self sufficient. 4.Change the culture of public services seamless/integrated services designed with citizens and clients. 5.Better targeting of services

6. 6 Community Budgets Timetable Short Term Programme (Next 4 months to end of June 2011):- Work in Melton and Hinckley to define root problems, costs, barriers, etc Identify innovation and what works Get agreement and test early opportunity changes Develop outcome and performance measures
