2 Spring Peeper Carbon, Nitrogen, Hydrogen- To sustain plant life essential for the wooded area that that they live in Silt- Mostly Sediment to assisting the structure of ponds both vernal and permanent. Arsenic- It is harmful to the ecosystem as well as the frogs.

4 Green Frog They are very tolerant of chemicals, it has been reported that they have survived dips in chlorinated pools. Carbon, Nitrogen, Hydrogen- Sustaining plant life Silt- Pond Structure Clay- Good at retaining pond water in permanent ponds. Arsenic- Still harmful but needs to exist in larger quantities.

6 Bull Frog The bull frog is influenced the most by minerals because it is the most sensitive of the frogs and toads. Carbon, Nitrogen, Hydrogen- Sustaining Plant Life Silt, Clay- Pond Structure Arsenic- Harmful to frog & wetland.

8 American Toad The American toad is affected by the least amount of minerals due to the fact that it is the most adaptable of the frogs and toads in the River Rouge Watershed. Arsenic- Harmful to frog & wetland.
