Skilled Labor Requires specialized abilities and training Need little supervision Usually earn an hourly wage rather than a salary Examples: auto mechanics, bank tellers, plumbers, firefighters, etc.

Professional Labor Demands advanced skills and education Usually white collar workers Receive a salary Examples: managers, teachers, doctors, lawyers, etc.
