My City Location: New York City is located at the southern tip of the state of New York, where the Hudson River meets the Atlantic Ocean. It is in the northeastern part of the United States. Population: 8.36 Million people making NYC the most populated city in the U.S.A. Mayor of New York City: Bill de Blasio Land: The city's total land area is approximately 305 square miles. New York City is divided into five boroughs. They are Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island. Climate: The city has a humid continental climate. NYC has hot humid summers and cold winters.

New York City The tallest building in New York City (and the United States) was The World Trade Center at 1776 feet. Two other famous New York City buildings are the Empire State Building (2nd tallest at 1472 feet tall) and the Chrysler Building Empire State Building (2nd tallest at 1472 feet tall) and the Chrysler Building A city full of skyscrapers, New York City is often defined by it’s dramatic skyline. The city has over 5,800 high-rise buildings.

My Country: USA Our capital is Washington D.C. 50 states Alaska & Hawaii don ’ t touch the others. Mexico and Canada are our neighbors. Minnesota is North. Texas is the biggest. Rhode Island is the smallest.
