Unit #10 Tip of the week— If a word ends in y and is preceded by a consonant, usually the y is changed to i when adding suffixes not starting with i. exceptions – dryness, fryer

Commonly misspelled words— 5) attendance Did they take attendance at the tenth dance? 6) cafeteria The cafeteria is named Café Teri.

Roots/prefixes/suffixes— cis = to cut bio = life graph = to write (or record) photo = light
