1 BEFORE CLASS: (first 3-4 min) Get these forms from the front table to look at and draw. You will share with the person next to you. * CUBE * CYLINDER * PYRAMID * CONE * DIAMOND * A PIECE OF WHITE PAPER TO PUT UNDER THESE FORMS. * EVERYONE WILL NEED A PENCIL.

2 SHADING FORMS Objective: You will analyze forms in order to apply shading techniques when drawing from observation. DRILL: YOU NEED A PENCIL. 1.Title page: Shading forms with Pencil. 2.Set up your page to have 6 section or squares. 3.What two types of shading are there? 4.Follow the demo to shade the forms with pencil. (10 pts) 2.Turn to your forms page. 3.Make sure there is a pyramid at your table. 4.Draw and shade the pyramid.

12 Today: 1.Objects list. 2.5 forms drawn and shaded 3.Finish/ work on your homework. 4.Finish continuous contour drawing of 3 objects and designs. 5.Finish drawing flower outlines and filling negative space. 6.Make a 2 page background for still life drills.
