‘Individual Consumption’ & ‘Group consumption’ meaning. ‘Individual Consumption’ is where you consume a media product by yourself as opposed to with a group. An example of this would be playing a game on a device by yourself. ‘Group consumption’ would be the opposite to ‘individual consumption’ basically instead of being a individual working on a project, you would be working in a group with numerous of people. For example you could be playing on a device with other people

‘Passive audience’ & ‘Active audience’ meaning. ‘passive audience’ doesn’t engaged in any discussions. For example you might want feedback for a project etc., and there are two parts of the audience but that part wouldn’t say or give any out. ‘Active audience’ engages in discussions. For example, the audience would give back feedback for a project,

‘Immediacy’ ‘access’ & ‘Convenience’ meanings. ‘Immediacy’ means giving something instance. For example. Your teacher may want you to do something and you would do it straight away or you would text a message to someone and it would immediately send to the other device. ‘Access’ means being able to have something. For example you will need to have a password to access a device or you might need a key to access a locked room ect. ‘convenience’ means dealing with media that is free cheap, easy to use. The media can be local, national or world wide and is usually user friendly. For example you might want to go to a convenience store, that would come under that description

‘Connectively’ ‘interaction’ & ‘personalisation’ meaning. ‘Connectively’ in media would be connecting with other people or a media product. For example other people can give feedback to me on my blog by leaving messages. This can also be achieved on Facebook. ‘interaction’ this means basically you might interact with other people on social media, blogs. For example you might help someone on there page, work together ect. ‘Personalisation’ means your own creations, thought, what makes it induvial. For example you would personalise your own website, make it what you want just your own thouughts.

‘Analogue’ & ‘Digital’ meanings. ‘Analogue’ would be anything that is not computerised. For example a old camera would need film to produce a photo or film. ‘Digital’ is computerised,. For example a new camera/phone would only need a sim card/memory card to capture the image.
