Specific actions we will take from 2009-2013 to implement the goals and objectives in the Strategic Plan One Example: Build regional and field technical capacity through partnerships called Landscape Conservation Cooperatives. The LCC’s will be the primary means for obtaining and applying the best climate change science to conservation delivery on the ground 5-Year Action Plan for Implementing the Climate Change Strategic Plan

Acquire best available science ID strategies to achieve goals, Design a Plan NWRS – Manage and protect habitat and species Monitor progress, track success. Adapt delivery as needed = adaptive management

A national geographic framework upon which the USFWS can work with partners to connect project and site-specific efforts to larger biological goals and outcomes
