2. + ePubs – Self-made Content On your iPad, go to this site: http://instech.knoxschools.org Navigate to the page on ePubs Click on “Mozambique: Tete and Manica” Click “Open in iBooks” Take a few minutes to look over the book.

3. + Using Pages to create an ePub Begin with a blank document. Create a title page by typing in a title and your name. From the top menu, click insert > page break Type your prose Add images using the media button.

4. + Be sure all images are “inline” Highlight image Click the inspector In the inspector pane, choose wrap Be sure that Object Placement is inline (moves with text) You can wrap the image as needed Tip: Select one image and then use Command – A. This selects all. Now mark images as inline.

5. + Share to ePub Click Share > Export Choose ePub Edit title Edit author Pick a Genre Click Next…

6. + Watch for warnings about floaters Go back and find the floaters and get them inline!

7. + One more screen and publish! You will have a chance to change the title of the file you are saving. This is not the metadata for the book.
