Major Academic Plan (MAP) Why study operations management? Operations management deals with the logistics, techniques, and methods needed to achieve management objectives relative to quality, quantity, schedules, and costs. This program includes inventory management, facility planning, systems design, task analysis, and project and production scheduling. Career Opportunities Careers in operations management offer the satisfaction and excitement of a vital role in the growth of an organization’s productivity.
