WMO OMM Case studies : major outcomes from the WG Meeting in dec. 2011 10 case studies analyzed in 3 breakout groups to: –stimulate discussion –test the 8-steps of CD how WMO will be –guide WMO CDS in holistic and cohesive manner 2 out of 10 cases felt to be emergency cases requiring a different approach considering their circumstances – 8-step approach applied while criteria for measuring success would be limited to the provision of emergency services rather than sustained capacity.
