1. Step 1: add the new XML report Drop the 1098_1099Pro_Report.xml into your EncompassData/Data/Reports This file is available at www.1099pro.com/encompass

2. Step 2: Generate your Report Select 1098_1099Pro_Report.xml Click the “Folders” tab to select the loans to include in the report. Click on “Generate” to create the import file for 1099 Pro.

3. Step 3: Proof your data in Excel Your data total will show in the ‘Table’ tab. Verify that the number of loans, the totals, the individual line detail are OK If OK then click on the ‘Data’ tab shown in yellow below.

4. Step 4: Create the 1098 file to import into1099 Pro Make sure you have the Data worksheet showing on the Excel worksheet. Go to the upper left hand corner of the Excel Worksheet. Click on File & Save As. Select Text (Tab delimited) as shown below

5. Step 5: Save as a.txt file

6. Now your ready to Import into 1099 Pro!
