8. 3. The KNEES of Faith The knees represent humility. God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble (James 4.6). The woman did not want to take the master's time. The Centurion felt he was not worthy to receive Jesus into his house (Matthew 8). Naaman was opposite. He was proud and had to be humbled before he could receive.
