3. Winston was very good with his oration and speeches. As a child literature was one of his only strong points, according to his teachers he “had potential”. As well as that he had to write long letters to his parents to get their attention. As a result he could encourage the country with his inspirational speeches.

4. Churchill was a very popular man during World War Two. The reason for this is from his early years as he went to a boarding school which wasn’t very sociable. Therefore he tried to make himself popular in later life.

5. As Prime minister he would need to be a good strategist during a war. As a young man Winston had joined the army and picked up some strategies from his experiences. Also he had some experiences in the navy as First Lord of Admiralty. Accordingly he grew up to be quite a good general of war.
