Simple tracing for Windows Azure Pack A PowerShell script that captures WAP Debug and Operational event logs. Checks your system and recommends the best of three trace types. Run the tool on multiple WAP systems at once to gain more information on your issue. WAPTrace: What it does for you The script performs these actions: 1.Stops all WAP Debug event logs if running (Default is not running) 2.Backs up all existing Debug event logs to a date-time stamped folder 3.Clears Debug WAP logs to prepare for a new trace 4.Lists your installed WAP components 5.Makes a trace recommendation. After the trace it… 6.Stops logs, exports Debug and Operational event logs 7.Zips everything up and opens the containing folder

So how do I use it? 1.Download and save WAPTrace.ps1WAPTrace.ps1 2.Right click on the script and choose Properties 3.Click ‘Unblock’ button at bottom right of window 4.Right-click the script and select ‘Run with PowerShell’ 5.The script will prompt for elevation automatically

Execute and Repro the Issue Follow the on screen prompts to collect data
