Click to edit Master title style Click to edit Master text styles Second level Third level Fourth level Fifth level B-on’s service today In production since 2004 Based on federated search (Metalib): –Real time search in several “live” databases; –Search time limited by the slowest database; –The number of user interactions until reaching the desired information is often high and requires navigation in more than one interface. We have frequent complaints by our users.

Click to edit Master title style Click to edit Master text styles Second level Third level Fourth level Fifth level B-on’s service today –We have ONE Metalib/SFX consortia license; –The configuration is the same for all institutions (pesquisa.b- on.pt), except for the resources; –There are two main content packages: one for Hospital Members and other for Academics Members; –Every institution has one of these content packages; –We manage access to these resources at a central level in the consortium Metalib/SFX; –We only provide electronic content. We don’t have catalogs or repositories.

IP Institutions identification -> same primo with different holdings? Use search scopes? Use of tabs? We are waiting for EL clarification.
