6. Certain interest is also represented by industrial architecture of the nineteenth century. Ivanovo has a number of original constructions which are located in historical part of the city

7. Education The first man's Real School appeared in Ivanovo- Voznesensk in 1873, the first female school was introduced in 1878. In Ivanovo there are nine high schools, 7 branches of high schools, 24 special educational institutions and a lot of schools

8. There are a lot of universities in our city. They are the State University, the Power University, the Textile Academy, the Chemical-Technological University, the Architectural Construction University and others. The level of education now is not worse than in other cities, sometimes it’s even better, that is why students from other cities ( for example from Vladimir, Kostroma and even Saint Petersburg) arrive to study here.

9. Now the accelerated rates trade and sphere of services are developing in the city. There is a considerable quantity of the shopping centers, the branched out network of restaurants of fast food and night clubs. There are preconditions for tourist development.

10. 2008 the sports-entertainment complex "Olympia" which is the largest in CFO and one of the greatest in Europe was constructed in Ivanovo.
