2. ANTHROPOMETRY  It is the field that involves the measurement of the dimensions and other physical characteristics of people, and the application of this information to the design of things they use.  Literally anthropometry means “measurement of humans”

3. STATURE  DEFINITION: The vertical distance from the floor to the vertex (tepe noktası)

4. EYE HEIGHT  DEFINITION: Vertical distance from the floor to the inner corner of the eye

5. SHOULDER HEIGHT  DEFINITION: Vertical distance from floor to the acromion (omuz çıkıntısı)

13. SITTING ELBOW HEIGHT (Elbow Rest Height)  DEFINITION: Vertical distance from the seat surface to the underside of the elbow

14. THIGH THICKNESS  DEFINITION: Vertical distance from the seat surface to the top of the uncompressed soft tissue of the thigh at its thickest point, generally where it meets the abdomen

15. BUTTOCK-KNEE LENGTH  DEFINITION: Horizontal distance from the back of the uncompressed buttock to the front of the knee

16. BUTTOCK – POPLITEAL LENGTH  DEFINITION: Horizontal distance from the back of the uncompressed buttocks to the popliteal angle, at the back of the knee, where the back of the lower legs meet the underside of the thigh

17. KNEE HEIGHT  DEFINITION: Vertical distance from the floor to the upper surface of the knee (usually measured to the quadriceps muscle rather than the kneecap)

18. POPLITEAL HEIGHT  DEFINITION: Vertical distance from the floor to the popliteal angle at the underside of the knee where the tendon of the biceps femoris muscle inserts into the lower leg.
