2 Advancing Government through Collaboration, Education and Action IAC Member Advocate Program (IMAP) Mission & Goals –Mission: To proactively engage members, promote participation, and maximize IAC member value. –Goals: Improve and maximize membership levels and renewals Create a repeatable platform/process for engaging members – ‘Engage’ Customize advocacy efforts based on member tenure and participation Develop & promote the use of common member resources - training, events, webcasts, member ‘Engage’ Promote member awareness of ACT-IAC website as resource for content and member business value 2

5 Advancing Government through Collaboration, Education and Action IMAP Structure 5 League: Member companies grouped by longevity Head Coach (x1): Assures the coaches in each league are running the plays that provide members maximum value from ACT-IAC Coaches (x4): Manage member advocates, adjusting “teams” as necessary to accommodate Advocate strength/workload IMAP Member Advocates: Manage a “team” of member companies by directing the towards valuable ACT-IAC Content Team: Portfolio of up to 5 companies managed by a Member Advocate

7 Advancing Government through Collaboration, Education and Action IAC Member Advocate Program (IMAP) Next Steps –IMAP Playbook (Draft by 12/29, revise during Pilot) Develop IMAP Draft Playbook for Phase 1 Advocates Outline, Operations Plan for full IMAP program –Member Selection (by January 1, 2015) December – Validate member company participation for Pilot December – Orient member companies for Pilot –Launch IMAP for New Members (January 2015) April 2015 – Collect formal feedback from Member Advocates May 2015 – Collect formal feedback from Pilot member companies –Plan for Next Phases (Spring 2015) May 2015 – Identify changes to IMAP based on feedback May & June 2015 – Develop plans / plays for IMAP Phase 2 deployment 7
