Anchor Windlass-cum- Mooring winch.  An anchor windlass is a machine that restrains and manipulates the anchor chain and/or rope on a boat, allowing the anchor to be raised and lowered.  Electro-hydraulic Drive.  Each windlass cum winch with two cable lifter & two warping drum and one central drum to be provided.  Capacity of cable lifter : 9 Tons @ 12 meter/min or as per classification requirement which ever is higher.

10. Capstans  Two electro-hydraulic capstans.  An apparatus used for hoisting weights, consisting of a vertical spool-shaped cylinder that is rotated manually or by machine and around which a cable is wound.  Pulling force of 5 tonnes @ 15m/min.

Tugger Winch.  A small drum winch designed to assist the crew in manipulating the heavy pieces of towing gear such as chain bridles, towing plates and large towing wires used in anchor-handling or ship- handling work  Commonly fitted in offshore vessels at the cargo deck area behind the superstructure

12. HYDRAULIC TUGGER WINCH

13. Capacity 10 tonnes at 15m/min. The winch is to be complete with one wire drum and one inboard warping head, complete with 250mx22mm dia wire.

14. Smit bracket Fitting welded on deck to enable towing connections to be made quickly and securely. The vessel shall be equipped with a 150 tonnes SWL ‘Smit bracket’ on the fox’le deck.

15. Lashing Lugs & Dummy Capstans 20 numbers of 5T SWL lugs are to be arranged on main deck / Cargo Rail. Sufficient (8 Nos.) numbers of dummy capstans each are to be fitted on the supports of the cargo rails / main deck suitably at the port & stbd. LUG

16. Bollard Around 12 bollards of 12” NB on board vessel. Mooring pipes or chocks for the above bollards are to be fitted to the bulwark as required.

17. Davit Used to lower things over an edge of a long drop off such as lowering a maintenance trapeze down a building or launching a lifeboat over the side of a ship.

18. One davit along with an electric operated winch of 1 Ton SWL is to be provided on the stbd side on the forecastle deck mounted close to or on the bulwark.

19. National Colours "Staff" to be installed at mast for national colours. Escape Hatches Watertight hatches, with counter weights in: Engine room Aft Thruster Compartment. Construction Equipment Room Bow thruster room.

20. Rungs or vertical ladder are to be fitted for each escape hatch and area to be illuminated by emergency light.
