2 Outline 50 Hz SFG spectrometer Double resonance SFG
SFG imaging microscope USB-CAN data acquisition system

3 50 Hz Sum Frequency Generation Spectrometer
PL2241 series – new generation of picosecond lasers Features: Robust, reliable diode pumped oscillator Folded, more stable regenerative amplifier Frequencies up to 250 Hz Wide range of output energies Disadvantages of our standard SFG spectrometer: Long spectra acquisition time Complicated maintenance New 50 Hz system: Up to five time faster data acquisition More easy maintenance PL2241/50 + PG501 Compromise of high repetition rate and high enough output energy Efficient pump source for SFG set-up

4 50 Hz Sum Frequency Generation Spectrometer: Spectra samples

5 Double resonance SFG option
Doubly resonant SFG spectrum selectively enhances the vibrational modes through their electron-vibration coupling Features Two parametrical generators pumped by single powerful laser Wide tunability of VIS wavelength 210 – 680 nm Triple monochromator for tunable VIS rejection Automatic compensation of tunable VIS delay Special design for high UV throughput Doubly resonant enhancement of Rhodamine SFG spectra

6 SFG imaging microscope (joint project with Steven Baldelli group, HU)
ICCD Tube lens Notch filters Objective Diffraction grating Sample 1064 nm beam IR beam 1064 nm Filter 532 nm Filter Design Far field imaging Detection via an intermediate image on the surface of a blazed grating Upgradeable option of standard EKSPLA SFG spectrometer An image of ODT covered etched gold sample. The first lines are spaced, in order left -right  20, 5, 2, and 8 micrometers. Image taken at ωIR=2875 cm-1 and acquired for 5000 laser shots.

7 Information transfer USB-CAN bus
What is “Controller Area Network” ? CAN is a serial bus system especially suited for networking “intelligent” devices as well as sensors and actuators within a system or sub-system What can Ekspla offer for this type of system? Si, Ge, GaAs ... photodiode-based photodetectors PMT-based photodetectors Motion controller Laser diode power supply HV power supply TEC cooler controller

8 Take advantage of our 10 years experience in SFG
We offer: Highly qualified consultations and assistance Picosecond lasers with outstanding stability Picosecond OPG/OPA/DFG Laser accessories and components Photonics components, beam delivery optics
