2 How do I Access the Breast Pump Database? https://sendss.state.ga.us/sendss/WIClogin.screen Must have a user ID and Password to access SENDSS Must be granted access to the “Breast Pump” Tab

3 What are the Levels of Access for the Breast Pump Database?  State: All Functions  District: Add Breast Pump & Breast Pump Search/Results  Clinic: Breast Pump Search/Results only Administrative Set-up of Users

4 Breast Pump Search/Results Under Breast Pump Search/Results Tab – Issue/Return – Clean – Transfer – Follow-up – Lost/Found – Surplus Everyone can access this section!

5 Access Management State WIC Breastfeeding coordinator is responsible for granting access to the Breast Pump Database after SENDSS access has been established. Step 1: Establish SENDSS Access Step 2: Request access to the “Breast Pump Database” from the State WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator.

6 What are the three links below the Breast Pump Database Tab used for? Add Breast Pump Breast Pump Search/Results Breast Pump Reports

7 Add Breast Pump Enter District (opens clinic field) Model Serial Number Inventory Number Purchased By Price * Purchase Date * Notes * Save *Optional Fields for District Purchased

8 Search Options: How do I find a pump? Can search by: District/Clinic Serial/Inventory Number Name (mother/infant) Price Phone Number

10 What information is needed to issue a pump? Mother WIC ID Phone Number Reason for Issuance Issuance Notes Date defaults to today’s date (Can be changed) Mother’s Last Name and First Name Infant’s Last Name and First Name

11 “Undo Issue” Button: Pump Issuance Marked as issued by mistake – Realized pump hadn’t been cleaned or was broken “Undo Issue” button allows the user to start over and select a different pump

12 Follow-up Documentation Date Notes (builds over time) No limit on number of follow-ups

13 How do I transfer a pump to another clinic or district? Choose Transfer Enter District (Defaults to current district) Enter Clinic Save

15 Under Equipment Status Click “Lost” How do I document a Lost Pump?

16 If later recovered, select found How do I document a Found Pump?

17 How does the database track that a pump needs to be cleaned? “Needs Cleaning” option message will appear in the equipment data history. Once the pump has been cleaned select “Cleaned” from the available options. This will make the pump available for issuance in inventory.

18 How do I flag a Breast Pump for Repair? The Breast pump database includes two criteria: Needs Repair Repaired

19 When do I use “Surplus” as a code? Select “Surplus” when a breast pump is permanently removed from circulation.

20 Breast Pump Reports Issued Pumps – Search as needed – Excel table format – Information available: Issue Date Name Phone Number Reason for Issuance Type of Pump Note: More Reports Under Development!
