Homer’s Childhood Homer was born February 24, 1836. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts. His mother was a watercolorist. His father was an importer.

Homer’s Education Homer went to the National Academy of Design. Other then that, Homer went to school like a normal boy, except that he loved art.

Homer’s Works of Art Homer made a painting called “The Country Schoolhouse.” This was naturally of a schoolhouse.
