Log in to the BTG Gmail account

From the drop down menu select Google+

This is the Google+ homepage After opening the drop down menu select Hangouts

This is the Hangouts homepage Select the Hangouts On Air tab Then create a new Hangout On Air

Add a name Add a description Set a start time Add an audience Then hit Share

You are now on the events page for your Hangout Enabling Q&A lets people joining your hangout ask questions live Press Start

This is a good time to invite other hosts Hit Invite, or skip if you want to do this later

Agree to start the Hangout

Note that we haven’t started yet From the Control Room you can toggle mics/cameras

As the host you can invite people to present, and mute their microphone or camera

You can share your screen, or specific windows

You can add different apps, like the Hangout Toolbox (recommended)

With this toolbox, you can add features like a Lower Third or a Logo

Time to invite your audience by sharing this link/ tweeting etc.

You are now live on your Google+ page and on Youtube

If you enabled Q&A people can ask questions once they join Create a hashtag, e.g. #BTGLive, so that people can tweet questions
