International Charts Used an evolving GIS planning tool to guide discussions Updated the actions from last MACHC meeting Agreed to update the current INT chart scheme with the limits of the national charts of Mexico and Colombia for the Pacific and those of the U.S., Suriname and Venezuela for the Caribbean.

Agreed that as National Charts are updated to meet S-4 standards, S-11 will then be updated. (It is a national responsibility to ensure that national charts comply with S-4 and S-11) Reinforce the national responsibility to include the INT charts in their national catalogs Consider future development of a companion portal to point the user to where to find available INT charts via the MACHC website International Charts

Electronic Navigational Charts Significant progress in addressing overlaps: 16 out of 24 resolved (reflected in Annex B of ENC Coverage Report) Official bilateral agreements have been established between: -Venezuela and Colombia - Venezuela and France -Venezuela and The Netherlands

Electronic Navigational Charts Significant progress in closing gaps: 16 out of 21 resolved (as reflected in Annex B of ENC Coverage Report) Remaining gaps include lack of ENCs for Cuba and the Bahamas - - Request MACHC Chair communicate formally with Cuba; if no response, elevate to IHB for higher level political engagement.

Electronic Navigational Charts Lack of survey data around private destinations in the Bahamas hampers chart production - Cruise Line Representative and UK to discuss suitability of industry collected data for this purpose - Cruise Line Representative to provide list of priority ports for MACHC and other regions Reminder for producer nations to respond to IHO Circular Letter 51 by providing ENCs to the IHB

Requests to Plenary - Endorse proposed changes to INT chart scheme and S-11 Updates - Endorse U.S. (John Nyberg) as MICC Coordinator and new MACHC rep to WENDWG - Endorse Brazil (Paulo Matos) as Vice-Coordinator - Approve the high level Work Plan for 2013 - Approve minor changes in Terms of Reference to reflect Committee status and new acronym
