The President of the U.S. said if Pakistan asks for help, then we will give it. The article says the U.S. will send troops, but they also say it will be a small number. However, Pakistan has not asked for help yet. Write 4 sentences to explain how the 2 themes are evident in the article. The “location” in this article is Pakistan. The relative location can be identified as in Asia, north of Iraq. Pakistan is also a specific country. It has unifying characteristics because the people are mostly Moslem. This makes Pakistan also a “region”.
