1. To Improve Workplace Culture to include family friendly policies Introduce flexi working time time & embed into Organization’s HR Policies. Job Role sharing Conducive work practices /style eg DISCOURAGE meetings after working hours/week-ends Introduce day care/creche (on site if possible, for certain size, small companies get tax incentives for crech allowance) - Set up a committee to review & propose & implement the above

MANAGE TALENT Need for data and statistics on women in STI: - Identify relevant organization that collect and publish data and statistics on women”s participation & consolidate these into a comprehensive guide/publication collating as annual report for input to policy makers - Identify one organization to collate these into a one-stop women information statistics Refer to Europen’s Experience ( see Figure below ) -

Introduce Role Models of Women in STI 1.Use media to profile women icon in STI & their - highlight achievments, & their success stories, - share the challenges their face Engage mass media companies eg English & local TV programmes & newspapers 2) Invite Women leaders in STI (presently working and those retired ) to give lectures at schools, univesities & public
