A Better Society Without God There is a foolhardy notion that the more God is removed the better society will become Surely the most casual observer can see that this is not working Look at what this is like (Psa. 36:1-4) Quoted in Romans 3:11-18 Notice the downward spiral of sin and how it began (Rom. 1:28-32) History tells us that this has happened in a great many societies

4. Kingdoms (and societies) cannot succeed without God Four times to two different kings is a statement made that God “is ruler in the realm of men” (Dan. 4:17, 25, 32; 5:21) Governing authorities “…are established by God” (Rom. 13:1) “Righteousness exalts a nation” (Prov. 14:34; cf. 2 Chron. 7:14) Christians have duty in this (1 Tim. 2:1-2) We are to be an influence (Matt. 5:13-16)

5. A Better Home Without God It is foolishly believed that God should not be included or allowed in the home It is God who has ordained the home (Gen 1:27; 5:2; Matt. 19:4-6) We should turn to Him for help & counsel He has such on: Husbands and wives (Eph. 5:22-33; Col. 3:18-19) Parents and children (Eph. 6:1-4; Col. 3:20-21) None of this will be as successful as is possible unless God is at the center of the home (1 Cor. 11:3; Matt. 6:33)

6. A Home In Heaven Without God The consensus of opinion in the world (including a good portion of the religious world) is that all good people go to heaven Being a moral person (by world’s standard) and a good citizen are all that are necessary This is a case of “the wish becoming father to the thought” Sadly, many of the religions of men promote this very thing

7. What does God say about this? Must do His will (Matt. 7:21) Must keep His commandments (Rev. 22:14) Heaven is the final reward for those of faith (1 Peter 1:4, 9) Impossible to please God without faith (Heb. 11:6) Must repent or perish (Lk. 13:3) Must be baptized (Mk. 16:16)
