Site Inspection Visit the exact location of the event. Inspect the property or location. Review and measure the available space. Draw diagrams or take pictures. Visualize the placement of the bar. Recognize storage space.

Event Location: Indoor or Outdoor Indoor bar –Simpler setup –Inspect the area for electrical outlets. –Plan and prepare for spilled beverages on the floor. Outdoor bar –More difficult to plan, more factors to consider –Will area be covered? –What time of year will the event be held?

Beverage Contract Explains in detail: –The beverage services provided by the caterer –The beverages to be received by the client Specific brands, kinds and volume of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages being supplied Writing your own contract is more professional.

Cost of the Event The basic cost for the beverage service is: –The client's deposit –The negotiated price per attendee Federal, state, local, and miscellaneous taxes Additional service fees may include: –Set up and tear down –Transportation charges –Equipment rental –Gratuities

Cancellation and Performance Refund Policy Cancellation and performance refund policies must be explicitly spelled-out in the contract. A cancellation terminates a pre-scheduled future event. A performance refund is requested by an unsatisfied client whose needs were not met.
