Selecting the Plan Members Identify the plan members by selecting part or all of a hierarchy (for ex, an organization hierarchy). For workers belonging to this hierarchy, HRMS automatically generates personal scorecards of objectives when you publish the plan. For the plan, you could select assignment type for Employees, Contingent Workers or both and include primary assignments only. The following hierarchy Types can be supported by PMP: Supervisor Assignment Supervisor Position Organization

Specifying the PMP Process You can tailor the performance-management process to suit enterprise requirements to: Include/Exclude objective setting. Include/Exclude automatic appraisal creation.

Include Objective Setting During the Creation of a PMP, checking the “Include Objective Setting” process enables the following : To specify When objective setting must occur. Whether you will use the cascading or parallel objective- setting process. Whether personal scorecards will automatically include objectives from the Objectives Library for which workers are eligible Whether personal scorecards will include incomplete objectives Whether sharing and alignment of objectives are enabled.

Include Appraisals in Process Include Appraisals in Process, the application can create appraisals automatically for plan members. Select an appraisal template. Specify when the application will generate the appraisals Specify whether the application will allocate appraisals to the main appraiser or the appraisee.

Selecting the Appraisal Template Appraisal templates that you include in a PMP must: Be valid throughout the relevant appraisal period. Be valid for the plan population(Members). Include an objective-assessment template, if you include objective setting in your PMP.

Reviewing & Publishing the Plan The Creator of the plans needs to review the plan before it is published When you publish the plan, HRMS automatically generates personal scorecards for all plan members A list of PMP tasks is visible with processes, their start and end dates and so on, to guide plan members

If you update a published plan to include objective setting, the application generates personal scorecards and objectives-related tasks when you republish the plan. Some restrictions apply to the changes that you can make.
