1 On a slip of paper tell me: 1. Name 2. Time you read last week 3. Pages you read last week 4. Book(s) you were reading last week 5. Describe the main conflict in the book so far. What would you do if you found yourself in this situation? What makes this conflict difficult? What is complex about the situation?

2 Grab a copy of one of the poems from Friday.  Write down a word to describe the tone/mood.  Write down 3 individual words or phrases that help to create the tone/mood of the poem.
