October 5th 2006Jacques Lefrancois1 Cable Repair ADC side: Problems Miniature connector neededMiniature connector needed Nicomatic or ATI previously used with KX3B cable But halogen-free cable has bigger diameter=> more difficult cabling Two main problems:Two main problems: When all the ground braid is not carefully laid outside the connector body, the crimping of the ground cylinder on the body is of poor quality: the connector can become loose or the cable pulled out slightly loosing contact. The same symptom can happen if the crimping tool was not closed completely If the stripping length of central isolator and central wire length was not observed exactly the signal contact can be recessed and make an intermittent contact with the electronic card connector.
