Equity is "fairness" or "justness" and, specifically, is the name given to the whole area of the law that deals with disputes between persons when neither of them has done anything against the law, but there is a conflict between their rights or claims.
7
Equity equity n. 2) a venerable (holy) group of rights and procedures to provide fairness, unhampered by the narrow strictures of the law or technical requirements of the law. In essence courts do the fair thing by court orders such as correction of property lines, taking possession of assets, imposing a lien, dividing assets, or injunctive relief (ordering a person to do something) to prevent irreparable damage.
8
Court of Equity Decisions in Courts of Law which, enforce the government’s laws, are made in light of the written statute and case law. Decisions in Courts of Equity are solely the judge’s discretion based on the specific facts of a single case.
9
God’s Court System IS NOT A COURT OF LAW!! GOD’S COURT IS A COURT OF EQUITY (RIGHTEOUSNESS)!!!!
10
GOD’S JUDGMENTS (DECISIONS OR SENTENCES) ARE BASED ON THE RULES OF EQUITY …NOT THE RULE OF LAW!!
11
Why is Equity important to us? In order to fully understand how God’s judgments or decisions work, we must understand the MAXIMS of EQUITY or the rules of the Court of Equity (Court of RIGHTEOUSNESS). In order to fully understand how God’s judgments or decisions work, we must understand the MAXIMS of EQUITY or the rules of the Court of Equity (Court of RIGHTEOUSNESS). Judgments are good if you are on the winning side of the judgment.

MAXIMS OF EQUITY 1. RIGHTEOUSNESS acts upon the person, (forcing him to do what conscience requires). 2. RIGHTEOUSNESS will not suffer a wrong without a remedy (healing, restoration, betterment). (RIGHTEOUSNESS abhors a forfeiture of rights.)
14
MAXIMS OF EQUITY 3. RIGHTEOUSNESS imputes (credits) an intention to fulfill a covenant. IT’S YOUR INTENTIONS THAT COUNT INTENTION: an anticipated outcome that guides your actions an anticipated outcome that guides your actions

21
Acts 13 21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years. 22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also He gave testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will.

I Samuel 16 1 And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons. 1 And the LORD said unto Samuel, How long wilt thou mourn for Saul, seeing I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? fill thine horn with oil, and go, I will send thee to Jesse the Bethlehemite: for I have provided me a king among his sons.
24
I Samuel 16 2 And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD. 2 And Samuel said, How can I go? if Saul hear it, he will kill me. And the LORD said, Take an heifer with thee, and say, I am come to sacrifice to the LORD. 3 And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee. 3 And call Jesse to the sacrifice, and I will shew thee what thou shalt do: and thou shalt anoint unto me him whom I name unto thee.

I Samuel 16 4 And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Bethlehem. And the elders of the town trembled at his coming, and said, Comest thou peaceably? 4 And Samuel did that which the LORD spake, and came to Bethlehem. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice. 5 And he said, Peaceably: I am come to sacrifice unto the LORD: sanctify yourselves, and come with me to the sacrifice. And he sanctified Jesse and his sons, and called them to the sacrifice.

I Samuel 16 6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD's anointed is before him. 6 And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD's anointed is before him. 7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart. 7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

II Samuel 11 AMP 1 IN THE spring, when kings go forth to battle, David sent Joab with his servants and all Israel, and they ravaged the Ammonites [country] and besieged Rabbah. But David remained in Jerusalem. 1 IN THE spring, when kings go forth to battle, David sent Joab with his servants and all Israel, and they ravaged the Ammonites [country] and besieged Rabbah. But David remained in Jerusalem. 2 One evening David arose from his couch and was walking on the roof of the king's house, when from there he saw a woman bathing; and she was very lovely to behold.
32
II Samuel 11 AMP 3 David sent and inquired about the woman. One said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam and the wife of Uriah the Hittite? 4 And David sent messengers and took her. And she came in to him, and he lay with her--for she was purified from her uncleanness. Then she returned to her house.
33
II Samuel 11 AMP 5 And the woman became pregnant and sent and told David, I am with child. 6 David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. So Joab sent [him] Uriah.
34
II Samuel 11 AMP 7 When Uriah had come to him, David asked him how Joab was, how the people fared, and how the war progressed. 8 David said to Uriah, Go down to your house and wash your feet. Uriah went out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of food [a gift] from the king.
35
II Samuel 11 AMP 9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord and did not go down to his house. 10 When they told David, Uriah did not go down to his house, David said to Uriah, Have you not come from a journey? Why did you not go down to your house?
36
II Samuel 11 AMP 11 Uriah said to David, The ark and Israel and Judah live in tents, and my lord Joab and the servants of my lord are camping in the open field. Shall I then go to my house to eat and drink and lie with my wife? As you live and as my soul lives, I will not do this thing. 12 And David said to Uriah, Remain here today also, and tomorrow I will let you depart. So Uriah remained in Jerusalem that day and the next.
37
II Samuel 11 AMP 13 David invited him, and he ate with him and drank, so that he made him drunk; but that night he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord and did not go down to his house. 14 In the morning David wrote a letter to Joab and sent it with Uriah.
38
II Samuel 11 AMP 15 And he wrote in the letter, Put Uriah in the front line of the heaviest fighting and withdraw from him, that he may be struck down and die.
39
II Samuel 11 AMP 23 The messenger said to David, Surely the men prevailed against us and came out to us in to the field, but we were upon them even to the entrance of the gate. 24 Then the archers shot at your servants from the wall. Some of the king's servants are dead, and your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.
40
II Samuel 11 AMP 25 Then David said to the messenger, Say to Joab, Let not this thing disturb you, for the sword devours one as well as another. Strengthen your attack upon the city and overthrow it. And encourage Joab. 26 When Uriah's wife heard that her husband was dead, she mourned for Uriah.
41
II Samuel 11 AMP 27 And when the mourning was past (30 days), David sent and brought her to his house, and she became his wife and bore him a son. But the thing that David had done displeased the Lord. God sends Nathan to confront the David The outcome David wants Guides his actions
42
II Samuel 12 AMP 13 And David said to Nathan, I have sinned against the Lord. And Nathan said to David, The Lord also has put away your sin; you shall not die. 14 Nevertheless, because by this deed you have utterly scorned the Lord and given great occasion to the enemies of the Lord to blaspheme, the child that is born to you shall surely die.
43
II Samuel 12 AMP 15 Then Nathan departed to his house. And the Lord struck the child that Uriah's widow bore to David, and he was very sick. 16 David therefore besought God for the child; and David fasted and went in and lay all night [repeatedly] on the floor.
44
II Samuel 12 AMP 17 His older house servants arose [in the night] and went to him to raise him up from the floor, but he would not, nor did he eat food with them. 18 And on the seventh day the child died. David's servants feared to tell him that the child was dead, for they said, While the child was yet alive, we spoke to him and he would not listen to our voices; will he then harm himself if we tell him the child is dead?
45
II Samuel 12 AMP 19 But when David saw that his servants whispered, he perceived that the child was dead. So he said to them, Is the child dead? And they said, He is. 20 Then David arose from the floor, washed, anointed himself, changed his apparel, and went into the house of the Lord and worshiped. Then he came to his own house, and when he asked, they set food before him, and he ate.
46
II Samuel 12 AMP 21 Then his servants said to him, What is this that you have done? You fasted and wept while the child was alive, but when the child was dead, you arose and ate food. 22 David said, While the child was still alive, I fasted and wept; for I said, Who knows whether the Lord will be gracious to me and let the child live?
47
II Samuel 12 AMP 23 But now he is dead; why should I fast? Can I bring him back again? I shall go to him, but he will not return to me. 24 David comforted Bathsheba his wife, and went to her and lay with her; and she bore a son, and she called his name Solomon. And the Lord loved [the child];
