doc.: IEEE 802.11-06/1386r0 Submission September 2006 Donald Eastlake 3rd, MotorolaSlide 9 September – Melbourne Meeting Going to Letter Ballot Working backwards: –Assume approval of Draft and vote to recommend to WG that we go to letter ballot occurs at the end of the last currently scheduled TGs meeting, this would be at 12:30-ε Thursday. –For Draft to have been on server for 4 hours, it would have had to be uploaded by 8:30-ε Thursday. –Realistically, changes to Draft would have to have been approved by the end of the last TGs session Wednesday, 15:30-ε. –Such changes would have had to be on the server by 11:30-ε Wednesday. Alternative: –Approve prospective Draft at last TGs session based on approved changes, possibly approving changes earlier in the same session. –Changes would have had to be on the server by 8:30-ε Thursday. –WG might decide to force a 15 day procedural LB to decide whether to go to LB on the draft.
