Atrial rhythms Do not always have a visible P wave Usually have a QRS May have a T wave also, but it may be hidden.

Atrial Flutter Which rhythm is this??? Notice the regular but too-frequent P waves

Atrial fibrillation (A-Fib) Which rhythm is this??? Notice the lack of visible P waves and irregular QRS rhythm

Premature Atrial Contraction (PAC) Which rhythm is this??? Notice the “spiky” P-wave before the premature beat

Ventricular rhythms QRS is abnormal May or may not be able to see normal P waves

Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC) Which rhythm is this??? Notice the wide QRS in this one

Ventricular tachycardia (V Tach) Which rhythm is this??? Notice the “V” rhythm and lack of visible P or T waves

Ventricular fibrillation (V Fib) Which rhythm is this??? Notice that you can’t really tell what any of these parts are

Asystole Which rhythm is this??? Notice the total lack of electrical activity on this one
