The Long March Have you ever heard of the Long March? The Long March was a march in China that was a whole yearlong. It was celebrating Mao Zedong and after that was the Communist Party. This all took place in the same modern history time period. This time period was also near the civil war. After the civil war the War Lord era came. Walking the Long March was very long. It was walked for a whole entire year going through all four seasons winter, fall, summer, and spring. Going through these different weather changes was not easy because they did not have the stuff that we have today. ZHOU DYNASTY The history of China goes back a long long time. But we’re going back to the Zhou dynasty. Here are some things that happened. During the Zhou Dynasty, the use of iron was introduced to China. Most Zhou warriors fought in horse drawn chariots. The Zhou dynasty was the second dynasty. King Wu was the first king. Kings in the Zhou dynasty were called sons of heaven. The Zhou dynasty was the longest dynasty of 800 years. The Chinese civilization expanded during the time of the Zhou dynasty. The massive size that the dynasty covered was too much for the Zhou leaders to handle due to the poor means of communication. Because of this, the leaders decided to appoint people to oversee each of the territories. The territories started off as walled off cities. The leader of each of the territories were the lords, each receiving the title through inheritance. Next in the hierarchy were the fighting men, followed by the peasants and the domestic slaves. Soon, these territories became more independent, eventually breaking away from the main Zhou dynasty leaders. The great wall was built because of Zhou. Zhou built walls that were later on connected by other dynasty.

CHINESE ZODIAC Chinese zodiac animal signs have numbers that add by twelve and mostly by one. Animals and years are famous in China. Especially the symbols. The symbol means witch years you were born in. The Chinese animals are: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Monkey, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, The Goat (Sheep or Ram), Rooster, Dog, Boar (Pig). The person who invented the Chinese zodiac actually didn’t kill those animals because when the animals died he wanted to make memory of those animals. He loved animals. And wanted to write those years that each person might have been born. The most compatible match for a Dragon is the Monkey or Rat because the dragon was the dead before the Monkey. And the Rat and the Rat just died right after and the Monkey died when the Rat died. That’s why the Monkey and the Rat is the Dragons match.
