1 Background Information on Classic vs. Plus “Classic” site: Your existing environment (i.e. doj.ecpic.gov) “Plus” site: The modernized site (i.e. doj.ecpic.gov/ss) These sites have unique codebases but share a database – any updates to either site are reflected in the other This configuration has been in place since v6.1 Browser Support: Classic: IE8 Plus: IE9 and IE10, laying foundation for IE11 (targeted for full support in v6.7)

2 Timeline June 26, 2014 – v6.4 release; includes changes to user interface and full compatibility with Internet Explorer versions 9 and 10 July 31, 2014 – v6.5 release; includes BY-16 OMB A-11 requirements Late August 2014 – v6.6 release; includes required interface (API) for agency submission to the Federal IT Dashboard December 2014 – v6.7 release; will include: New systems module to link systems to investments Portfolios analytics Improved usability Full support for Internet Explorer version 11 Reengineered Admin module

3 Significant Changes Plus site has an enhanced “look and feel” from the Classic site, although the majority of the functionality is identical 2 main ways to update tables in eCPIC: Row Edit Template and Inline Editing Inline Editing option not available on certain tables Toggle Excel export/import is another way of updating data Filtering table options are an enhancement in Plus, allowing you to view data in a more management way Project Activities table is a new grid, but performs very similarly to old functionality Ad-hoc reporting has new field searching grid Upgrades with the eCPIC Inbox New data grids called Hierarchy Grids allowing for agency-defined dependencies to be identified and selected
