2. Dates Wednesday 10 th February to Friday 12 th February 2016

3. Where do we stay? Thameside Youth Hostel Bunk bed rooms of 4 to 8. All on one floor together. Room choices will take place this week. Breakfast, packed lunch & dinner included

4. How do we get around? Private coach Pick up and drop off at each event. Respect our drivers & their coach. We will walk places too.

6. Suggested clothes list We have to carry our own cases up a lot of stairs! Pack for 3 days not 3 months! Warm coat – dress for the weather! Waterproof jacket Comfortable day clothes (jeans, t-shirt, warm jumper – Layers!) Smart but comfortable clothes for the theatre Underwear Pyjamas Towel Washing kit Comb / hairbrush 2 pairs of comfortable shoes (Smart shoes/boots and trainers) Small rucksack Water tight container for drink Plastic bag for dirty clothes

7. Other items Day 2 & 3 Pocket money (maximum £20) to be handed in by Monday 8th February 2016 as two amounts (e.g. 2 x £10 notes in a named envelope) Pocket money for day 1 in day bag. Packed lunch and drinks for first day (in rucksack, including anything they need during the first day – we will be carrying them around with us – so a small, comfortable bag is recommended) Medicines and notes referring to these to be handed in on Wednesday 10th February 2016 on arrival at school

8. Other items Travel tablets if required – return & small journey tablets put into a named envelope and given in at registration (must be handed in with medicines). Personal stereos, electronic games for journeys (your own responsibility and must be labeled) No mobile phones! Camera – we recommend disposable cameras

9. Day 1: Wednesday 10 th February 8.00 Children to arrive at school Register in the hall and hand in any medicines with notes & load suitcases onto coach 8.30: Departure Confirmation of our safe arrival will be posted on the school website by 1pm. 11.00: Science Museum Science Show & Explore 1.00: Visit the V & A Museum including eating lunch 16.00: Arrive at Youth Hostel and dinner 18.00: Depart from Youth Hostel 19.00: Matilda 11.00: Arrive back at Youth Hostel

10. Day 2: Thursday 11 th February 8.30 Breakfast 10.15: Shakespeare Globe Theatre Guided tour and drama workshop 13.10: Thames river cruise 14.30 : The London Eye 17.00: Arrive at Youth Hostel and dinner 18.00: Depart from Youth Hostel 19.00: Lion King 23.00: Arrive back at Youth Hostel

11. Day 3: Friday 12 th February 8.00 Breakfast 10.45: London Zoo 18.00: Estimated arrival time back at school. I shall ring the school on Friday afternoon to give indication of when we will arrive back in Ely. This will be shown on the school website rolling newsfeed. If there is going to be significant delay you will be contacted by email or text.
