Youth sports are becoming privatized and kids are being specialized so youth co-ed sports aren’t as common as they used to be Pro’s: o Mutual Respect - By playing together at a young age, it will help teach children to be respectful of both genders. o Confidence and Cooperation - Cooperating with one another will help kids develop ways of learning from each other Cons’: o Skill Level - Boy’s end up getting taller and stronger than the girls, which could prove to be detrimental to the development of their skills o Comfortability - Boys might fear for being too aggressive with the girls
