The Laboratory Animal Facility and Management (LAFAM) has been established and utilized by the UiTM’s academic staff, researchers and postgraduate students. The LAFAM staff and committee members have been actively organizing a number of activities, including ‘Knowledge Sharing Sessions’ on various topics related to animal care and handling, as well as series of workshops on laboratory animals. This 1 st Laboratory Animal Workshop on Rabbits 2016 is organized with blended lectures and hands-on practicals conducted by invited well-known experts in the fields of rabbit husbandry, management, behaviour, medicine, surgery and post-mortem.
