GOALS-AIMS The children will 1. listen to a legend of a Europe country and compare it with a similar Cyprus tale. 2. recognize, all the heroes of the story, even in English. 3. go through different activities to differentiate work but also consolidate concepts taught previously. 3.  The children discussed the first slide of the Gingerbread tale. After that the teacher told the story on the interactive board. A’1 classA’2 class

4.  The children put the pictures in the right line.

5.  After that the children chose the right characters of the story.

6.  Finally some kids played the story wearing role masks and the others watched them.

7.  Then the pupils had to work in several MATH activities. One team had to find out the characters of the story among others. They colored, cut and glued them in 2 groups The other team had to join the gingerbread’s buttons with the right number.

8. They put gingerbreads in groups depending on the shape on them. Some other pupils put gingerbreads in size groups (small,medium,large) Another math activity was a line of gingerbread men starting from the smallest to the largest or the opposite.
