5. Focus Lesson: “The Gift”  Pre-reading for the main idea  Class Reading (p. 469)  Individually or in small groups, complete critical thinking question #10 on p. 471.

6. Homework: Poetry Project  Complete parts #1 and #2 only of the poetry workshop project (handout).  Due next class (20 project points).
