Objectives Describe the selection and educational preparation of military nurse scientists specific to the strategic research goals of the international community Describe the process of identifying knowledge gaps from the battlefield and bedside to nurse scientists prepared to conduct rigorous studies to guide military health care providers Discuss the interactive relationship between the USU doctoral program and the various international service and agency leadership in meeting their respective strategic research objectives
