3 Foreign Policy  Realism vs Idealism  What is Foreign Policy?  Class definition  How does it effect you?

4 Current US Foreign Policy  What happens when we don’t like what a country is doing?  Sanctions-a threatened penalty for disobeying a law or rule.  Right now: Fur prices are low because the US government has sanctions against Russia

5 Policy Terms  Diplomacy-  Realism and Idealism-

6 Timeline  You and a Partner need to list the events in chapters 19, 20 and 21.  In your notebook date, event 1 date, event 2

7 Time to put them on the Scale!  Using the Spectrum I gave you, work in groups of up to 3 to place these foreign policy decisions on our Scale of Realism to Idealism
