5. Within each of the Facts on File databases, you can browse by: – Biographies – Events and topics – Primary sources – Timelines – Images and videos – Maps and charts Browsing Capabilities 5

6. Learning Centers Includes hand-picked entries on people, events and topics, primary sources, along with images, maps and graphs, and chronologies. Provides links to comprehensive overview essays. Linked entries provide a broad, inclusive look at an era or subject. 6

Searching Capabilities In addition to basic searching, Facts on File can: – Perform advanced search – Limit results – Keep track of search history – Search from one to six other history databases at the same time including: American History Online American Women’s History Online American Indian History Online African-American History Online Modern World History Online Ancient and Medieval History Online 7
