Justification This visual representation allows for a break down of the neighborhoods within the 6 districts that are most affected by homicide. With this information additional steps can be taken in the homicide heavy districts or just the homicide heavy neighborhoods depending on availability of resources.

Suggestion Our suggestion is to increase the visibility of members of the police force in the areas that have higher rates of homicide. This can be enacted through having additional patrols through those neighborhoods and districts. This could also be achieved by having members of the police force moved from the lower homicide rate areas to the more heavily affected areas for some shifts or on a more constant basis.
9
Justification Additional police patrols would be enough to show that there is an increased police presence in the areas that it is needed. This small change would show control without being a show of force or provocation. There would me a minimal cost for additional patrols verse hiring more officers or bringing in heavy equipment such as armored vehicles.
