And certain men came down from Judea and taught the brethren, "Unless you are circumcised according to the custom of Moses, you cannot be saved." Therefore, when Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and dispute with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas and certain others of them should go up to Jerusalem, to the apostles and elders, about this question. (Acts 15:1-2) 1

And when they had come to Jerusalem, they were received by the church and the apostles and the elders; and they reported all things that God had done with them. But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, "It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses." (Acts 15:4-5) 2

Sayings of Men Vs. the Word of God YOU HAVE HEARD IT SAID: BUT GOD’S WORD SAYS:

And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. (Col. 1:18 ) Sayings of Men Vs. the Word of God YOU HAVE HEARD IT SAID: Choose your church. And I also say to you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build My church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it. (Matt. 16:18).... And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved. (Acts 2:47) For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.... Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her. (Eph. 5:23, 25) Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. (Acts 20:28) BUT GOD’S WORD SAYS: to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen. (Eph. 3:21)

Then Jesus said to them, “Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and the Sadducees.” Then they understood that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and Sadducees. (Matt. 16:6, 12) “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, “Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?” Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits, whether they are of God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world. (1 John 4:1) And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules. (2 Tim. 2:5) “And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’” (Matt. 7:21-23) BUT GOD’S WORD SAYS: There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death. (Prov. 14:12) Sayings of Men Vs. the Word of God YOU HAVE HEARD IT SAID: Choose your church. Just be sincere.

A highway shall be there, and a road, and it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, but it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, shall not go astray. (Isa. 35:8) BUT GOD’S WORD SAYS: as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue. (2 Peter 1:3) At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes.” (Matt. 11:25) And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. (John 20:30-31) All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Tim. 3:16-17) 6 YOU HAVE HEARD IT SAID: Choose your church. Just be sincere. Bible needs clarifying. Sayings of Men Vs. the Word of God

though He was a Son, yet He learned obedience by the things which He suffered. And having been perfected, He became the author of eternal salvation to all who obey Him. (Heb. 5:8-9) Through Him we have received grace and apostleship for obedience to the faith among all nations for His name. (Rom. 1:5) in flaming fire taking vengeance on those who do not know God, and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thess. 1:8) 7 YOU HAVE HEARD IT SAID: Choose your church. Just be sincere. Bible needs clarifying. “Faith only” saves. BUT GOD’S WORD SAYS: What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? (James 2:14) You see then that a man is justified by works, and not by faith only. (James 2:24) For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:26) Sayings of Men Vs. the Word of God

BUT GOD’S WORD SAYS: For it would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered to them. (2 Peter 2:21) For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the beginning. (2 Peter 2:20) And I testify again to every man who becomes circumcised that he is a debtor to keep the whole law. You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law; you have fallen from grace. (Gal. 5:3-4) But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. (1 Cor. 9:27) For it is impossible...if they fall away, to renew them again to repentance, since they crucify again for themselves the Son of God, and put Him to an open shame. (Heb. 6:4-6) 8 YOU HAVE HEARD IT SAID: Choose your church. Just be sincere. Bible needs clarifying. “Faith only” saves. Cannot fall away. Sayings of Men Vs. the Word of God

There is also an antitype which now saves us-- baptism (not the removal of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God), through the resurrection of Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 3:21) And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:15-16) Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” (Acts 2:38) BUT GOD’S WORD SAYS: 9 “‘And now why are you waiting? Arise and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on the name of the Lord.’” (Acts 22:16) For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus. For as many of you as were baptized into Christ have put on Christ. (Gal. 3:26- 27) YOU HAVE HEARD IT SAID: Choose your church. Just be sincere. Bible needs clarifying. “Faith only” saves. Cannot fall away. Baptism not essential. Sayings of Men Vs. the Word of God

So he commanded the chariot to stand still. And both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water, and he baptized him. (Acts 8:38) BUT GOD’S WORD SAYS: There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Eph. 4:4-6) 10 Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? Therefore we were buried with Him through baptism into death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. (Rom. 6:3-5) buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. (Col. 2:12) YOU HAVE HEARD IT SAID: Choose your church. Just be sincere. Bible needs clarifying. “Faith only” saves. Cannot fall away. Baptism not essential. Choice of "baptisms."
