Culture Complexes cluster of interrelated traits Example – Football contains many different types of materials, acts & beliefs

Culture Patterns combination of a number of culture complexes into an interrelated whole Example – baseball,basketball, football, soccer, swimming, tennis & track combine to form the American athletic pattern
