2. Purpose To demonstrate the capability to create a Container Type record.

3. Background Before you can create containers for your Warehouse you must define Container Types. This procedure allows for the design of various templates used for containers. It also defines the characteristics that subsequent containers will inherit.

4. Situation As the Site Manager at a Region, the Warehouse Officer has directed you to create a Warehouse Container Type used to set up a Container to expand your storage capability.

5. Container Type Creation Navigate to Catalog Mgmt tab. (1) Click on the ‘Container Type’ option. 1
