@the Finnish Virtual Polytehnic 5 The portal offers various tailored services to meet the requirements of customers and partners for students for polytechnics’ administration for teachers for researchers and developers

@the Finnish Virtual Polytehnic 6 The production teams Teachers and students from polytechnics produce network-based courses for different study fields. The production is based on reusable learning objects. About 50 new production teams started their activities in 2004. By the end of 2006 polytechnic students will have a chance to gain at least 30 ECTS credits of e-learning studies via the Virtual Polytechnic’s portal.
